Easter weekend 2014

Dear Kayden,
You were definitely spoiled this Easter. The weekend before Easter we did an Easter egg hunt at our house. Since Daddy went out of town for Easter weekend. You got toys and fun stuff at our house. You got Toy Story 3, hotwheels, race car track, and a few other small toys.

For actual Easter weekend it was nana, you and me. On Friday we went to the zoo. You loved showing Nana the monkeys and playing on the slide. On Saturday we went to two different Easter egg hunts at different churches.

You loved finding the eggs but you kept stopping to try to open them.
We also had lunch.

That night uncle pat, aunt bubbles, and aunt caca came over for a bbq. Uncle Pat helped you climb a tree. You loved it. You are usually afraid of him but you kept grabbing his hand and dragging him back to the tree.

On sunday we went to church, with you in your cute new suit.

 After church Aunt Chris and Uncle Chris came over for lunch and games.
Then that night we picked up Daddy from the airport. You didn't get a nap and passed our hard in the car. I picked you up and put you in the carseat without you waking up.

Overall it was a great weekend. We definitely had lots of fun.

Halloween 2013

Dear Kayden,
I just realized I never posted your Halloween activities! We went to the pumpkin patch Linder Farms again this year. We didn't do the corn maze. You were still a little too young. So we just did all the fun activities.

 

You did get to do the straw maze.

 Petting zoo

 You did the train 3 times.

 Swings. I was a little nervous letting you do it. 

You smiled the whole time but were super dizzy when you got down.

 Corn pit! You wouldn't go in it this year. You sat outside putting the corn back in.

 Your pumpkin! You took forever picking one! You would find one carry it around for a while and then decide it wasn't the right one and put it back down. This went on for 15 minutes until you found this perfect little one.

We definitely had fun at the pumpkin patch.

Of course on Halloween we went out trick or treating. You got a ton of candy.

 We were astronauts.

You got all worn out.

I can't wait for next year. Who knows what our family theme will be. You will actually get a say next year so it'll be fun to see!

Fun Activities (Lots of pictures)

Dear Kayden,
Since I haven't been able to update your blog I decided to upload pictures of all the fun activities we have done these last couple months.

We went to build a bear for the first time!

You love pretending to talk on the phone. If you hear a phone ring you will even use your hand and yell hello. This is so cute and gets so many laughs in public.

Reading with daddy. You especially love reading to your mickey characters.

Reading in your room.

You love bath time. And again anything mickey mouse.

Playtime always makes a big mess. Especially when you bring out your blocks but you have gotten so good at helping clean up.

You love ice cream! And Daddy decided it would be a good idea to let you hold a blizzard while he was driving. Obviously it was not a good idea. 

You like to help me cook.

 For some reason you like to lay in the toy box.

You love spending time with aunt tabbie and of course you love Chuck E Cheese.

Making friends with all the girls. We love playing at the mall.

Christmas 2013

Dear Kayden,
Life has been crazy lately so your blog hasn't been updated much. I figured it was time to atleast upload some pictures. So here are some great Christmas pictures for you!

 Nana came down and we decorated the tree together.

You loved decorating.

We didn't expect you to understand too much about Christmas this year, but you must have understand more than we thought. You woke us up at 5! 

You did so good at opening presents!

You even waited your turn and played with your new things while waiting.

We had such a good Christmas.

We spent most of the day at home. We did go to Aunt Bebes for breakfast but then we spent the rest of the day here playing with new toys. Your favorite  toy was definitley your mickey mouse club house.

I can't wait for next Christmas!

Somersaults!

Dear Kayden,
You just learned how to do somersaults yesterday!! You kept putting your head on the floor with your feet on the ground so I nudged you over to do a somersault. You had me do it a couple more times then you figured out how to do it yourself!

Turning 2!

Dear Kayden,
I cant believe you are growing up so fast! We didnt do much for your birthday since we had just gone on vacation. We got you a donald and goofy to go with your bigger mickey. We used them in your birthday pics.
